Unity Tutorial 10

This week I decided to follow Unit 5 tutorials but instead of using it with the game that the unity tutorials provide I started to work straight on my own game. 

I have been having issues with the scoreboard and the gems not connecting to it. I'm not sure what the issue is as I am following the tutorials but whenever the raft collects the gems the scoreboard doesn't move up which has become quite frustrating. 

hopefully I will be able to overcome this issue and  move onto the game over.
