Reading 8

 In this week's reading, we focused on how to write an introduction and conclusion for our book chapters. There were 3 videos to watch and they were very helpful. The videos went through the importance of good introductions and conclusions because that is what attracts readers to commit to reading your pieces. It also helps readers decide if your work will be beneficial to them if they initially skim through your writing. 

They also talked about the importance of using reliable sources in your work as this will draw more attention to readers who are trying to do research on a similar topic. It is important to keep your work straight to the point as most of the main topic will go into your writing's main body. the introduction and conclusion are what make your piece understandable and keep the reader hooked.
